Entering Epcot guests were greeted by a living topiary of Mickey in his sorceror robes.
This past Spring my parents visited the annual International Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot. The event was sponsored by HGTV and had the usual stunning floral displays throughout the park. Even though I was not able to attend this year I thought I would share some of these highlights courtesy of Dear Old Dad (with a few tweaks by yours truly!).
The normally green spaces of Epcot blanketed in flowers arranged in colorful patterns.
Spring is a perfect time to visit Epcot; not just for the flower show but for the perfect weather!
This being a Disney park, many of the flower displays represented favorite characters both past and present.
A gorgeous butterfly is created by arranging live flowers in a mosaic around one of Epcot’s many waterways.
The pirouetting ostriches from ‘Fantasia’ are beautifully recreated using a variety of plants.
Even the usually dour Donald was recreated in colorful flowers and greenery.
